Match Report
Finborough School Girls-U15B vs  Royal Hospital School
On: Thursday, 18 Nov 2021
Venue: Away

This game has to be my proudest moment as a hockey coach. The girls absolutely wowed me with their determination and game play. They effectively and successfully used a press every time a free hit or hit out was awarded, which basically meant that every single ball was won back in their attacking half. This allowed us to fully dominate the game and maintain at least 90% possession of the ball. Olive Gregory, without a doubt, was the hardest working player, and simply didn't allow the ball to enter the defending half. Exceptional stick work and well deserved player of the match. Bryony Reeves also played a great game and scored 2 amazing goals; one from a deflection and the other from dribbling past a defender into the D! Exceptionally play and cohesiveness from all players, which resulted in a 7-0 win.
