Match Report
Finborough School Girls-U13A vs  Framlingham College
On: Wednesday, 29 Sep 2021
Venue: Away

The U13As had a very evenly contested match against Framlingham! Our girls are beginning to get used to the formation, their roles within it and the importance of an immediate press. Charlotte began the game particularly strongly chasing down balls and dispossessing players as they were carrying! The team worked very effectively together and had a number of shots on target! The oppositions goal keeper wore very bright orange pads and unfortunately we seemed to use them as a target rather trying to hit the corners of the goal. It took a mighty shot from Flo who lifted it slightly to hit the back of the net! The defence were also taxed and Hannah was tenacious in her tackling and clearing of the ball. They had some very skilful ball carriers that liked to spin and could shoot very strongly so by half time it was 1-1. The second half saw a beautifully crafted goal between the attack and a slot away from Bella.

Ezra played brilliantly in goal as usual despite carrying an injury and managed a last second flying boot to prevent an almost certain goal! A great team performance. The final score was 3-3
