Match Report
Finborough School Girls-U13C vs  Framlingham College
On: Wednesday, 29 Sep 2021
Venue: Away

The girls got off to a good start with a lot of play down the middle of the pitch. However In terms of formation, we soon learned we became more effective when the ball was played out wide to the sides with the right and left midfield players finding space away from Framlingham's defence. Towards the end of the first half our defence managed to put in some hard tackles and while on a break forward, Bailey eliminated their defence and went 1 on 1 with the keeper to score! She positioned the shot in the corner, with speed, meaning the goal keeper had very little chance of saving it. In the second half we gained a few short corners although we failed to convert these to goals. During open play, Oonagh passed the ball from the right up to Bailey which enabled her to get her second goal of the game. We finished with a score of 2-1 against Framlingham. A really impressive game, well done girls.
